A New Chapter for Golf in Boca Raton
Golf has been an important part of Boca Raton's recreation story for decades. By the late 1980s, the City's recreation system included multiple golf facilities, helping make the game part of everyday community life in Boca Raton.
Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club represents the next chapter in that history.
The property was formerly known as Boca Country Club and included an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, tennis facilities, aquatics facilities, and event space. In 2020, the property was donated to the City of Boca Raton, creating the opportunity for the former private club to become a publicly owned and operated recreation facility.
